Dave is a skilled executive-level leader and financial planner, bringing more than 20 years of planning, management and firsthand experience with solving complex problems to help his clients apply strategies to achieve their financial goals and objectives.

His professional background includes service in the U.S. Army, where he was selected to lead elite and tactical units at the platoon, company and battalion level. He also served as an assistant professor at the United States Military Academy at West Point and as a department chair at Washington University in St. Louis. His academic credentials include master’s degrees from Harvard University and the Command and General Staff College’s School of Advanced Military Studies and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois, Champaign.

Dave moved to Raymond James with our team in 2022 from Northwestern Mutual Wealth Management Company, where he was a successful financial advisor. “I endeavor to provide clients with what was expected of me as a leader of character in the Army and what I expect for my family: integrity, honesty, competence and professionalism,” Dave says.

Dave is originally from Tinley Park, Illinois, and today lives in Colorado Springs with his wife, Shelene, and daughter, Sophia. In his free time, he enjoys all things Colorado: trail running, skiing, mountain biking, camping and fly fishing.
