Helping A Modern Family Accomplish Their Multigenerational
Sam, 45, is a partner at a law firm and Ben, 48, is a business development manager at a publicly traded company. Sam and Ben have been life partners for the past 15 years and have twin 5-year-old daughters, Maggie and Sophia. They are also considering getting married and need help navigating the estate planning and tax planning questions that come with being married. In addition, Ben's mom, Cindy, 77, lives with them. Ben's compensation consists in large part of employer stock, and he is considered an "insider" and subject to trading restrictions. They work long hours and would like to buy a vacation home before they retire. They need help with the following:
- Concentrated stock and option planning
- Education planning
- Retirement planning
- Buying a second home
- Tax planning, including impact of getting married
- Estate planning
- Planning for Cindy's care
We can design a financial plan to help them assess these goals and develop strategies to achieve what is important to them.
Investing involves risk and you may incur a profit or loss regardless of strategy selected.
