Aaron spent more than a decade practicing corporate law, a background that enables him to bring an analytical and detail-oriented approach to the financial planning strategies he crafts. He combines this approach with empathy and a dedication to client-first service – all with the intent of helping his clients attain the lives they desire. Aaron feels that his work as a financial advisor truly makes a difference, as he devotes himself each day to helping his clients achieve the short-term and long-term goals they hold for themselves and their loved ones.

Aaron specializes in client-focused, goals-based financial planning for individuals and multigenerational families, as well as portfolio management for individual and corporate clients, with a focus on tax-efficient retirement income strategies, education funding, and tax and estate planning.

Prior to joining Raymond James in February 2018, Aaron served as a financial advisor with Edward Jones for five years. Before that, he was employed as a corporate attorney with Jones Day for 11 years. During this time, Aaron advised and assisted public and private companies and their boards of directors with respect to a variety of transactional and compliance matters, including mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, financing and recapitalization transactions, and corporate governance and compliance matters.

Aaron earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Texas Tech University in Lubbock – where he was a National Merit Scholar – and graduated summa cum laude from the university. He then went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the University of Texas School of Law, where he graduated summa cum laude as a member of the Law Review and Order of the Coif.

Born in Muenster and raised in Hereford, Aaron makes his home in Plano with his wife, Brandi, and their children, Russell, Collin, Blake and Parker.
