Heather Stiles works closely with successful families and women investors, especially those preparing for or enjoying retirement. Heather also leads our institutional investment work with non-profits, foundations and endowments.
In 1981 Heather chose investment planning as a life path to manage her family's financial well-being. In 1995 she completed the College for Financial Planning Professional Education Program, a two and half-year course of advanced study to enhance her expertise in wealth management.
In 2011 Heather became one of the first Chartered Retirement Planning Counselors in the Santa Cruz/Monterey Bay area. The College for Financial Planning CRPC® Program focuses on the pre- and post-retirement needs of individuals, transforming the retirement planning process into a positive experience. The program guides the retirement process from start to finish, addressing issues such estate planning and asset management. Topics covered include:

Heather co-authored “TECH SUCCESS: How Technology Executives and their Families Manage Meaningful Wealth”, emphasizing the partner/spouse viewpoint in successful wealth management.
In her "spare time" Heather runs, hikes whenever possible, and is currently learning Mandarin. She writes short stories and has published flash fiction. Heather is also an active Rotarian, serves on the boards of the United Way, the Museum of Art and History (MAH), is a member of the Dominican Hospital Planned Giving Advisory Board, and Santa Cruz County Estate Planning Council.
