Eric’s goal is to help clients bring their objectives into clear focus and then align their finances accordingly. He believes that wealth management cannot be boiled down to an equation, or an optimal portfolio based on a questionnaire. Eric finds that emphasizing understanding his clients’ priorities, and keeping open channels of communication, leads to better outcomes. He wants clients to be confident that they have a partner who knows them well enough to provide a confidential sounding board for difficult decisions. Once the big picture has been framed, he then helps clients work backwards to fill in the details.
A graduate of North Carolina State University, Eric spent his advisory career at Merrill Lynch before joining Raymond James in 2021. Prior to becoming an advisor, he managed private golf communities. Consequently, Eric understands the complexity of managing large teams and the challenges business owners face. This past experience helps his team better serve a wide range of business owners.
A native of Greensboro, North Carolina, Eric and his wife, Meredith, reside in Asheville with their two sons, Michael and William. In his free time, Eric enjoys golf, hunting, baseball and time spent with family.
