With a focus on retirement planning services, Shirley joined Raymond James in May 2021. She previously worked at Merrill Lynch for 22 years and has held the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠ designation since 2010.

A qualified portfolio manager, Shirley not only provides traditional financial guidance, she also helps clients pursue their objectives by building and managing personalized strategies, which can incorporate individual stocks and bonds as well as third-party investment strategies.

Shirley is a past president of the Rotary Club of Asheville-Biltmore and a member of Central United Methodist Church, where she served on the finance committee. She graduated from Elon University and is an avid supporter of the American Cancer Society and Susan G. Komen.
