As Michelle states, “With a focus on human behaviors and how they affect decision-making, I have the privilege of helping my clients make smart decisions about their money and their financial life, and I thoroughly love my work. By design, my practice is small, allowing me time to try to exceed service expectations, proactively assist clients, and react quickly to and be present for my clients when they need me. I am committed to educating and empowering my clients – by sharing information, reviewing scenarios, and being willing to have the needed conversations, even if they are uncomfortable or difficult – so they may make well-informed decisions consistent with their values and goals.” Michelle incorporates behavioral finance principles and teachings in her practice, and in 2018 she earned the designation of Behavioral Financial Advisor™. She is also a member of the Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education (AFCPE®).

Away from the office, Michelle hikes in our National Parks, the White Mountains region of New Hampshire, and New York’s Adirondack and Catskills Parks; travels, having visited over 40 countries, including Iceland and Greenland, and 6 continents, including Antarctica; and takes various art classes. Of her hiking accomplishments, she summited the 115 4,000-ft mountains in the Northeast, and in the summer of 2020, she section hiked the ~260-mi New England Trail. She is a Leave No TraceTM-certified Trainer, a certified Yoga200RT instructor and a certified Barre instructor, and a certified Wilderness First Responder.

Living in Western Mass., she enthusiastically supports nonprofits and volunteers in her local community. Among other commitments, she has volunteered in fundraising efforts for The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts, she is a member of the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce and 100 Who Care – Franklin County, and she is a volunteer with the Franklin County Medical Reserve Corps.
