• Susan Santamaria

    Financial Advisor

In the 1980s, Susan recognized the need for a consultative approach to helping people meet their financial goals. She took the opportunity to educate clients for the benefit of their overall financial well being. Caring and smart, she strives to help clients build and preserve their wealth, and transfer it according to their wishes.

Focused on providing thorough financial assessments and plans, as well as investment selection and portfolio management, Susan joined Raymond James in 2015. She respects the research and good reputation of the firm in addition to establishing an independent relationship where she can always put client interests first. A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, Susan has continued learning and achieved the designation of Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS) from the College for Financial Planning in 2004.

She has consistently been involved in the communities she has called home. Susan has been named an honorary member of the Women's Board of the Children's Home & Aid Society in Chicago, Illinois, and received a certificate of merit for outstanding dedication in volunteer service from the Chicago Texas Exes - an alumni association of her alma mater, where she is a lifetime member and also served for many years as president of the Chicago Chapter.
