Tom Vann is committed to the financial well-being of his clients and adheres to his core belief that, in order to achieve your current and long-term goals, individuals need a comprehensive plan.

Investments may be part of the solution but, through his 42 years of experience, he has learned that the needs of his clients go beyond investments alone. Tom works closely with his clients to gather information, help them identify their goals, and then develop and implement a plan that is tailored to their unique goals and interests.

Tom began his career in 1979 as a Municipal Securities Representative in the institutional bond department of Houston-based Underwood Neuhaus & Company. In 1981, he moved to the retail division of the firm to focus on his true passion of working with individual investors.

In addition to providing financial advice to his clients, Tom has also served as the branch office manager of two firms. In 1992, he was named Manager of the Year by The Principal/Eppler Guerin & Turner, Inc.

Originally from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Tom graduated from Wake Forest University in 1974 with a Bachelor of Science degree in business before moving to Texas. He is an active member of the Rotary Club of Houston and has served the Club in numerous capacities, including Club President in 2016-17 and chair of the Jesse H. Jones Rotary House International committee. Tom is currently Chairman of the Rotary Club of Houston Foundation and General Chair of the 49th Rotary Lombardi Award.

Tom is a Certified Estate Planner®, has earned the Wealth Management Specialist designation and the internal designation of Investment Management Consultant.

The Investment Management Consultant designation is awarded to those who complete the Raymond James Institute of Investment Management Consulting program
