Troy, born and raised in Louisville, KY and is a graduate of St Xavier High School. He graduated from the University of Louisville with a Bachelor of Arts in Finance. Troy has worked in the financial services industry for over 30 years, which includes working in Stock Yards Investment Services since 2008.

Troy and his wife Mary were married in 1986 and have two adult children (Lauren and Brett). When not working, both Troy and Mary are active fitness participants, travel, work on remodeling related projects, and enjoy spending time with family and friends.
