James Zapotocky is a senior vice president and financial advisor at Raymond James. He has 14 years of experience in finance, and has been with the Takahashi Retirement Group since its inception.
James utilizes his passion for educating and math into his career as a financial advisor. Helping people articulate and pursue their goals is his top objective. He enjoys providing complex answers in a simple manner which helps his clients implement key financial decisions.

James started his career at Wells Fargo Advisors in 2010 working with Nick Takahashi. He transitioned with the Team to Morgan Stanley where he would gain 10 years of valuable experience and grow an effective practice. He is a California State University – Long Beach graduate with a degree in finance.
In his spare time, he enjoys the outdoors, hiking, golfing and surfing as well as spending time with his friends and family.
