Nick Takahashi,
CRPC® Managing DirectorWith over a decade of experience in the wealth management industry – and with a track record of helping individuals and families navigate the complexities of their finances – Nick Takahashi believes he has built a reputation for delivering thoughtful, personalized strategies that empower his clients to pursue their financial and retirement goals.
Throughout his career, Nick has held leadership roles where he guided teams of advisors, fostered collaborative environments and championed a client-first philosophy. Today, he leads his team with the same skills and principles at Takahashi Retirement Group of Raymond James.
Nick earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California, San Diego, where he was also a scholar-athlete on the water polo team. He remains actively involved with the university’s athletics board, continuing to support student-athletes and the broader campus community.
His approach as an advisor is deeply rooted in building long-term relationships and helping to provide clarity throughout life’s most important financial decisions. He currently holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠ designation, signaling his ability to help clients reduce financial stress and feel well cared for. His experience also spans retirement planning, investment strategy and wealth preservation.
Originally from Pasadena, California, and now based in Las Vegas, Nick enjoys an active lifestyle that includes surfing, snowboarding, golf and masters water polo. He also finds fulfillment in mentoring and spending time with his wife, Kristy and daughter, Tori.
His guiding principle: “Lead with integrity, serve with purpose,” serves as a reflection of both his professional values and personal outlook.

Each year Financial Planning ranks the highest-producing advisors in wealth management who are under 40. Over 400 candidates were considered and 40 were chosen to receive the each list: the Top 40 Advisors Under 40 and the Top 40 Regional Advisors Under 40. Nominees for the rankings were 39 or younger as of Dec. 31, 2021, and were registered with an advisory firm in the employee channel. Production totals were used to determine the rankings.
