Jeff enjoys the challenge and personal satisfaction of helping people make wise financial decisions, and is highly engaged by the dynamics and complexities of our global financial markets. He is a knowledgeable and trustworthy advisor who truly has his clients' best interests in mind at all times.

He considers his most successful clients confident and disciplined investors and, through the ongoing educational support he provides, guides his clients to achieve their goals. To this end, Jeff spends a great deal of time researching new ideas and investment opportunities from around the globe. He continuously shares his ideas on a one to one basis with his clients, as well as group presentations, keeping his investors informed.

His areas of expertise include wealth accumulation, retirement income, corporate retirement plans and family wealth transfer. He works with many corporate retirement plans and maintains a large number of IRA distributions and required minimum distributions for his individual clients.

Jeff works closely with each client to develop a customized investment plan designed to reach mutually agreed-upon goals. He reviews all financial aspects of their lives and coordinates his efforts with each client's attorney, accountant and other professional advisors.

In 2012, Jeff chose to join Raymond James, because, despite many changes in the industry, Raymond James has always remained steadfastly focused on its core value of putting the client first.

Previously in his career, Jeff spent 24 years as a financial advisor, sales manager and branch manager. He began with Prudential-Bache Securities, co- founded Legg Mason’s Rochester office, and was acquired by Smith Barney. He earned a bachelor's degree in marketing with a concentration in finance and a minor in economics from the State University of New York at Oswego.

Jeff is a member of the Adirondack Winter Forty-Sixers, an organization of hikers who have climbed the 46 major peaks of the Adirondack Mountains. He still enjoys winter hiking and climbing with friends and family

Jeff and Nancy enjoy spending time with their growing family. Lindsey and Ed Marchand, Aaron, Connor and grandson Mason. In his free time, Jeff enjoys hiking, hunting, fishing and boating.
