Andy began his career in the financial industry with Empower in 2019, progressing through several roles including retirement plan support, servicing the company’s largest plans, and portfolio optimization working directly with financial advisors. His broad experience—combined with a strong customer service background—supported his work with both advisors and clients across a wide range of retirement plans.
As part of the Brechnitz Group, Andy focuses on improving operational efficiency through process enhancements, innovative technology integrations including AI-driven solutions, and structured client touchpoints. He supports the advisors’ financial planning work by conducting due diligence, coordinating meetings and ensuring a smooth overall experience.
Andy holds a bachelor’s degree in health, fitness, and recreation with a minor in business from Bob Jones University. A former collegiate baseball player at Greenville College, he remains active in the sport as a youth baseball coach. Originally from Texas, Andy has lived in Illinois since grade school. He is active in the First Baptist Church of Moweaqua where he serves as an elder and supports a variety of youth programming. He and his wife, Brittany, live in Moweaqua with their four children.
