As a Wealth Management Specialist™ and Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM, Wally’s goal is to help clients pursue their financial objectives while making the journey as smooth as possible. Wally and Erik provide much of the research and guidance for the allocation parameters for most of our institutional clients, as well as for our CorePlus portfolios. “Our job is to strive to deliver sound results with exceptional care,” he says.

Wally applies his more than 34 years of investment industry experience to analyzing potential equity opportunities and coordinating the team’s market strategy. With a primary focus on asset allocation, Wally’s inquisitive disposition and diligent research techniques help bring valuable insight to our team’s investment strategies.

Wally began his financial services career in 1986 as one of the original partners and joined Raymond James in 2006. Previously, he served as a senior vice president of investments with Morgan Stanley and earned a bachelor’s degree in agri-business from Illinois State University.

Active in many community organizations, Wally has served as past president of The Children’s Museum of Illinois, the boards of the Decatur Memorial Hospital Foundation, the Mt. Zion Education Foundation, and was an elder and deacon for Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church.

Originally from Muncie, Indiana, Wally now lives in Chesterfield, Missouri, with his wife, Dana, where they are members of Chesterfield Presbyterian Church. They have a son, Cayden, who is an officer in the United States Air Force. When not working, Wally enjoys reading and writing. He has published two books, “Season of Change” and “When Someone You Know Loses a Child.” He also enjoys upland bird hunting and over the past seven years has been learning to write form poetry.
