Jess Ryan is a Certified Financial Planner® practitioner, a Certified Exit Planning Advisor®, and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary®. He has been a financial advisor since 2011.
A proud fifth-generation Wyoming native, Jess graduated from the University of Wyoming and is committed to the highest financial planning fiduciary and ethical standards. The CFP® credential identifies those individuals who have met the rigorous experience and ethical requirements of the CFP Board. The CEPA® designation is awarded by the Exit Planning Institute® to advisors trained in proven methodologies to help businesses unlock value and prepare for transitions. The AIF® designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies signifies his expertise in fiduciary standards of care and investment management.
An active educator, Jess frequently teaches courses on retirement income planning, tax management, and investment strategies as part of Laramie County Community College's Life Enrichment Programs. He extends his educational outreach through financial literacy programs for the Laramie County Library 2 Business program, local businesses, and various non-profit organizations.
Jess's commitment to his community is evident in his volunteer roles. He served as the Co-Chair of the United Way of Laramie County's 2021 Annual Campaign and currently serves as Chair of the Cheyenne Chamber Business Council. His past contributions include serving on the Steering Committee for Leadership Cheyenne, and as a board member for CASA of Laramie County, the Kiwanis Club of Cheyenne, K9s for Mobility, and the United Way of Laramie County.
Outside of his professional and volunteer life, Jess is passionate about fly fishing, a skill he honed while working as a guide in Saratoga, Wyoming, during his university years. Jess's family life is enriched by his wife, Dr. Danielle Ryan, a Cheyenne native, their two-year-old daughter Sidney, and their beloved rescue dog, a Border Collie mix named Georgia.
