This is why we devote individual attention to customizing a plan for each client that not only addresses retirement, but all aspects of their financial life.
A well-defined process for customizing your plan
STEP 1: DISCOVERY
We begin by sitting down with you to gain a good understanding of your needs, goals, financial situation, investment experience and risk tolerance. We explain our investment approach and how it fits with your overall financial picture. Since our goal here is to determine if we are a good fit for one another and establish a comfort level for working together, this step may involve multiple meetings.
STEP 2: CLARITY
We work to bring clarity to your financial situation by collecting and closely reviewing all relevant financial documents, tax returns, cash flow, assets and liabilities, loan terms, investment and bank account statements, IRA and 401(k) statements, trust documents and declaration pages from your insurance policies.
STEP 3: RECOMMEND
After analyzing the information you’ve shared with us, we will tailor a financial plan specifically to you or your organization using Goal Planning & Monitoring to help clarify your goals and their probability of success, and how to stay on track. This step may include collaborating with your tax and legal advisors. We present our recommendations to you, answer your questions, consider alternatives and outline the steps we need to take to implement your plan.

STEP 4: COMMITMENT
Relationships are what matter most to us. If we have both determined there is a good fit and a comfort level for working together – and we are confident we can bring significant value to the relationship – the next step is to formalize our working relationship. We’ll go over all the paperwork and execute all the agreements needed to confirm our working relationship.
STEP 5: IMPLEMENTATION
With your approval, we will execute your customized strategy using the extensive research and resources available to us through Raymond James. This involves the selection of specific account types, investment products and optional services, and the handling of all necessary paperwork. A month after we have invested your assets, we meet with you to review what we have done and go over any documents, trade confirmations or statements you have received.
STEP 6: REVIEW & MANAGE
We will continually manage the progress of your plan relative to your defined objectives and suggest any changes where needed. We accomplish this by providing ongoing reporting of your account activity and by conducting periodic reviews. A key to this step is your involvement and communication of any significant changes in your life.
