Vann Ashley Wilder Sr., CEP®, CLTC, WMS Investment Executive Financial Advisor

As a Wealth Management Specialist and the senior advisor for our team, Vann uses his extensive experience and seasoned knowledge to help our clients pursue their most important financial objectives.

Vann applies his more than 35 years of experience and skilled problem-solving ability to help address essential financial matters, and uses his excellent communication skills to help clients become more informed and confident investors. In addition to his experience in financial planning and investment management, he has specialized knowledge in real estate investments and insurance planning.

Vann holds the CLTC designation, a certification in long-term care. He knows the right questions to create a plan designed to preserve clients’ families and retirement portfolios from the risks associated with a long-term care situation.

Before joining Raymond James with his wife in 2012, Vann spent more than 30 years as a financial professional at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney and its predecessor firms. He was also a founding director of a commercial bank group and earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Wake Forest University.

Vann has been active on the boards of numerous nonprofit organizations, including the South Florida Artificial Kidney Center. He is a member of the Coral Reef Yacht Club, Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden and Sigma Chi fraternity and has been a longtime supporter of Child Fund International.

Originally from Washington, D.C., Vann lives in South Miami with his family.
