Originally from Loudon, Tennessee, Byron Lawson began his career as a financial advisor in 1986 after eight years in the insurance industry. He joined Raymond James in 2006. He is a 1978 graduate of the University of Tennessee Knoxville, where he received a B.S. degree in finance and accounting and was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. He is an elder of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Knoxville. His interests include travel, University of Tennessee sports, golf, outdoor activities, and jazz. Away from the office, Byron enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, son-in-law, and grandson.
