Byron Lawson is a financial advisor and vice president in the Knoxville, Tennessee branch office of Raymond James. With the industry knowledge and insight that comes with over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, Byron works hard every day to provide a comprehensive approach to financial planning and portfolio management. His primary objective is to advance your financial goals through sound advice, timely research and courteous, prompt and accurate service. Byron is also certified as an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®). This certification was designed to empower investment professionals with the fiduciary knowledge and tools to serve their clients’ best interests first and to act with honesty, integrity, and avoid conflicts of interest.

Originally from Loudon, Tennessee, Byron Lawson began his career as a financial advisor in 1986 after eight years in the insurance industry. He joined Raymond James in 2006. He is a 1978 graduate of the University of Tennessee Knoxville, where he received a B.S. degree in finance and accounting and was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. He is an elder of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Knoxville. His interests include travel, University of Tennessee sports, golf, outdoor activities, and jazz. Away from the office, Byron enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, son-in-law, and grandsons.
