Andrew J. Guarente (“AJ”) is a Financial Advisor with The Mitchell Advisory Group of Raymond James.

AJ focuses on delivering solutions for clients’ financial situations. His primary responsibilities include financial planning and modeling, trading, investment research, asset allocation, portfolio management and performance analysis. As an Accredited Asset Management SpecialistSM (AAMS®), AJ is able to identify opportunities and employ strategies not only with regard to investments, but also tax, retirement, and estate issues.

AJ joined The Mitchell Advisory Group of Raymond James in the summer of 2020 after spending eight years at J.P. Morgan in New York City, where he held several positions within the firm’s Securitized Products and Investment Banking divisions. He holds the Series 79 - Investment Banking Registered Representative, Series 7 - General Securities Representative, Series 66 - Uniform Combined State Law, Series 63 - Uniform Securities Agent State Law and SIE -Securities Industry Essentials licenses. 

AJ graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in 2012, and was a four-year starter and senior Captain on the NCAA Division 1 lacrosse team.  Born and raised in the Washington, D.C. area, AJ attended The Heights School in Potomac, MD.  He currently resides in Bergen County, NJ with his wife, Paige, and daughter, Margaux. AJ spends a considerable amount of time in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, in addition to the New York metropolitan area, conducting meetings with clients and working closely with members of The Mitchell Advisory Group.

Away from the office, AJ enjoys spending time with his family outdoors, playing golf, exercising and reading (predominately non-fiction and market related material).
