With more than 20 years in financial services, Katie has built a career intentionally focused on the unique needs of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families. She began with a Denver-based wealth management team serving a select group of client families, gaining firsthand experience in delivering personalized strategies for complex financial lives.
Her expertise deepened during more than a decade in alternative investment research and due diligence, where she analyzed billions of dollars in private offerings and institutional programs. This background gives Katie a rare perspective on sophisticated investment solutions and risk management.
In 2021, Katie joined The Perl Group to bring her experience full circle—combining technical investment knowledge with client-centered planning. Today, she leads the firm’s financial planning initiatives and contributes to broad investment strategy, due diligence, and practice development, helping families and business owners align wealth with life goals. She has also expanded the practice’s capabilities to assist with complex financial divorces, empowering individuals to not just navigate difficult transitions but also to move forward with confidence and clarity.
Raised in Wyoming, Katie earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, cum laude, with a music minor from the University of Denver. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation, along with Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA®), and Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®) credentials, and maintains Series 7 and 66 licenses as well as Colorado Life and Health insurance licenses. Katie is an active member of the CFA Institute and previously served on the City of Loveland Citizens’ Finance Advisory Commission.
A resident of Loveland with her husband and three children, Katie stays involved in the school and church community and supports her kids’ many activities. In her spare time, she enjoys improving her golf game, planning the next family adventure, and tending a garden that was proudly featured in a local “garden walk” fundraiser.
