Dan brings more than 30 years of in-depth experience in the industry to the team. This has provided Dan with a strong foundation for his work as a wealth manager. His expertise and personal philosophy guide us in devising a holistic approach for the design of estate planning, wealth transfer, tax needs and investment goals for each of our clients, while leveraging Raymond James support personnel, technology and infrastructure. Since joining Raymond James in 2001, he has served as Senior Vice President, Investments, and Branch Manager for our Boca Raton office. In addition to his work at Raymond James, Dan served on the Executive Board of the Florida Securities Dealers Association (FSDA), and is the past president of the Palm Beach chapter of the Jewish Guild for the Blind.

Prior to joining Raymond James, Dan was a partner in a privately owned investment firm, J.B. Hanauer & Co., and prior to that was an institutional trader on Wall Street representing Rodman
& Renshaw, Drexel Burnham, Smith Barney and Paine Webber. He is the proud recipient of a bachelor’s in economics from Hobart College and graduated from the Securities Industry Institute program at the Wharton School of Business. He holds the Wealth Management Specialist designation as well as certifications from Raymond James as an Investment Management Consultant, Retirement Planning Consultant and Trust Specialist.

He resides in Jupiter with his wife Elaine and enjoys golfing, sailing, tennis and spending time with family and friends.
