Kari joined Thompson Wealth Management in February, 2025. After graduating from Louisiana Tech University in 2017 with a degree in Kinesiology, she moved from her lifelong home in the Bayou to start her career in the medical field in the Melbourne, FL area. Starting out as a surgical technician, her problem solving and client service skills were quickly identified, and she began accepting additional responsibilities in the medical practice where she worked. Kari enjoyed working with clients to solve any issues they might be experiencing, whether it was working out concerns regarding a surgery, scheduling or handling communications with the insurance companies. She was soon promoted to assistant office manager, juggling both a surgical schedule and the duties that position required. While she enjoyed success in her field, growing her skills, and loved what she was doing, she found the part of her job she enjoyed the most was offering personalized service to each client, building relationships and helping people reach individual goals. With this in mind, Kari decided to transition into the financial services industry, bringing with her strong client service skillset and multitasking abilities.

With a solid foundation in the medical field and a passion for helping others, we believe Kari’s empathy for people and her attention to detail translate perfectly to Thompson Wealth Management. As a member of our client service team, Kari supports daily operations and fulfills client requests, helping to ensure that every client’s experience exceeds expectations.

She enjoys walking on the beach, playing tennis, reading and spending time with her fiancée, Jackson.
