After more than 15 years with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, he is excited to begin a new chapter in his career, bringing his experience and dedication with clients to Raymond James.
Garrett believes the value he offers to clients goes far beyond investments. He is committed to providing extraordinary service and takes the time to understand each client’s complete financial picture, as well as their life and investment goals. Garrett communicates clearly and frequently with clients, helping to ensure they feel confident and supported at every stage of their financial journey.
Garrett utilizes a comprehensive wealth management approach that encompasses all phases of clients’ financial lives – from asset accumulation and risk management to tax strategies, retirement planning and wealth transfer strategies.
He earned his bachelor’s degree from Salisbury University in Maryland and holds several of the industry’s top professional designations, including the Certified Financial Planner® certification awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™, CRPC™ designation and the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor, CPFA® with expertise in retirement plans. Garrett has been recognized by Forbes with multiple awards, including Forbes Top Next-Generation Wealth Advisors" list in 2023*; “the "Best-In-State Next-Generation Wealth Advisors**" list in 2023; and most recently the "Best-In-State Wealth Advisors***" list in 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025. Outside of his professional work, Garrett lives in Easton, Maryland, with his wife, Katie, and their three daughters, Kemper, Brooklyn and Scarlett. He is deeply engaged in his community, recently serving as the president of Talbot Lacrosse and coaching several youth girls’ lacrosse teams. Garrett is extremely active at Talbot Country Club and is also a past board member of the Tidewater Rotary Club of Easton. In his spare time, Garrett enjoys family time, the beach, boating, snowboarding and golf. He is also a die-hard Baltimore sports fan.
