Arthur is a founding partner of Tumlin Levin Sumner Wealth Management. Since 1997, his goal has been to apply his extensive experience and knowledge to help his clients address their financial concerns and develop sound strategies. Over his long career, he has experienced major shifts in the markets, and he continues to dedicate his time to delivering the personalized investment planning services his clients expect and deserve.
Arthur began his career as a financial advisor with A.G. Edwards, where he developed his fundamental investment knowledge, continuing to hone that knowledge as the company merged with Wachovia Securities, a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors. Throughout, he offered objective investment advice as well as portfolio management expertise to individuals and families who trusted him with their financial well-being. In order to serve them even better, Arthur decided to immerse himself in technical analysis to help clients better pinpoint when to buy and sell individual investments.
The Beaufort native has a degree in business administration from The Citadel. Over the years, Arthur has remained active in the community, serving as past president of the Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club of the Lowcountry, as well as the past Commodore of the Beaufort Yacht and Sailing Club. He currently serves on the board of directors of the Beaufort Memorial Hospital Foundation. Away from the office, Arthur enjoys spending time with his family, especially his wife, Elly. They enjoy biking, walking the beach, fishing and sailing.
