Charles is a founding partner of Tumlin Levin and Sumner Wealth Management and takes pride in his chosen profession of helping clients navigate ever-changing and sometimes challenging financial markets. His extensive experience and continued training over 20 years in the industry reinforce his dedication to delivering meaningful financial advice and personalized service to the clients he serves.
An economics major from the University of Georgia, Charles began his career with A.G. Edwards & Sons in Atlanta, where he developed the fundamental knowledge necessary to professionally guide clients toward suitable investment selections and proper asset allocations. He continued serving his loyal clients as A.G. Edwards merged with Wachovia Securities, which later became Wells Fargo Advisors. Charles managed the Beaufort, S.C., office of Wells Fargo Advisors from 2002 to 2015, before joining Raymond James with his partners.
Charles and his family have been an active part of the Beaufort community since 1997. He and his wife, Casey, have three children: Jennings, William and Claire. They are active participants at First Presbyterian Church, Beaufort Academy, Santa Elena Foundation and Beaufort Performing Arts.
