Jim Fitzgibbon,
CFP®, CPFA® Client Relationship ConsultantJim joined Raymond James in 2017, where he collaborates with corporate retirement plan clients and their employees. His expertise lies in guiding business owners and C-suite executives through the dynamic landscape of corporate retirement plans. By working closely with vendors and partners, Jim identifies tailored retirement solutions that align with the company’s objectives. Equally important, he assists plan participants in achieving their retirement goals, whether it’s a 401(k), 403(b), Cash Balance, or nonqualified deferred compensation plan. Acting as an extension of HR, Jim enables companies to make strategic decisions about their retirement plans, ultimately saving them time and allowing them to focus on their core competencies.
Jim holds a degree in Finance from the University of Iowa. His career began at the broker-dealer Waddell & Reed before transitioning to AMG National Trust and Bank. There, he honed his skills in creating comprehensive financial plans for high-net-worth families and C-suite executives. Jim is a Certified Financial Planner® professional and holds a Series 7 General Securities Representative license. Beyond his financial expertise, he serves the city of Chicago as a Firefighter/EMT with the Chicago Fire Department.
A native of Chicago, Jim has roots on the Southside and currently resides on the near west side with his wife. When he’s not at the office or firehouse, you’ll find him exploring new restaurants, experimenting with recipes, or enjoying a round of golf.
