Brooks Tomblin Bio Image

Brooks E. Tomblin,

CEP®, WMS™ Managing Director Senior Vice President, Wealth Management

As a Florida native, Brooks has spent most of his life in the Sunshine State. Born in Pensacola, he developed an appreciation for the water early on in life. This led him to join the U.S. Coast Guard, where he had the privilege of serving this great country from Charleston, South Carolina and the eastern shores of Maryland and Virginia.

In 1999, he switched careers to financial services and became the sixth financial advisor in his family. Since that time, he has helped guide clients through the tech wreck, the Great Recession, COVID-19 and many bear market cycles. Now looking toward the future, he has joined one of the largest independent full-service financial services firms not headquartered on Wall Street. Raymond James is a firm whose dedication to client service has led to approximately $1.09 trillion in total client assets as of September 30, 2022.

Brooks believes in continuing education and has attended the Wharton School of Business for investment strategy and portfolio management as well as Kaplan College’s wealth management program. He also holds a certification in estate planning from the National Institute of Certified Estate Planners™.

Brooks lives with his wife, Marian, and their three children. They have been happily married for 34 years.
