Michael Savage Financial Advisor

Mike Savage has appeared on CNBC and Fox News to discuss various topics related to investments. He has also been quoted in articles for USNews and World Report, Financial Planning magazine and CNBC.com, Daily Finance, the Pocono Record, Smart Money and Marketwatch.com. Mike started Savage Financial Group, Ltd. with Ken Park in February of 2010 after 25 years of service with two firms. In 1984 Mike joined MetLife in Lynbrook, NY. He specialized in small group health plans and led MetLife nationally in small group health plans in 1987 and 1988. In 1989 he got his series 6 and 63 licenses and started with MetLife Securities. At this time he started setting up portfolios for individual investors.

In 1996 Mike got his ChFC degree from the American College and went on to complete a financial planning program with MetLife Securites. At that time financial planning was added to the practice. Mike then passed the series 7, 65 and 26 exams. After a brief time of being a registered principal for MetLife Securities in Wilkes-Barre, PA Mike joined Wachovia Securities in November of 2001. From 2001-2010 Mike was a financial advisor for Wachovia Securities and was engaged in managing people’s portfolios and helping them plan for their futures.
