Since breaking a new high the week of July 18th our markets have been trading in an extremely narrow range within 100-150 DOW points, truly sleep walking. You know it's a slow news day when one of the lead stories on Yahoo! Finance is "What Investors Can Learn From Dennis Rodman," but the low-volume drifting is not unexpected given the time of the year and the fact earnings season is winding down.
