Benjamin Reynolds, CRPS®, AAMS Financial Advisor

After spending over 20 years assisting companies with implementation and administration of retirement plans for their employees, Ben made the transition to serve as a financial advisor with The Suchy Team of Raymond James. He saw the continuing need to work alongside individuals in developing appropriate investment strategies both during their working years as well as transitioning into and through retirement.

Following college, Ben began his financial services career in Kansas City with Waddell & Reed before he and his wife, a Tulsa native, called Tulsa home in 2002. Ben held various positions in Institutional Wealth with Bank of Oklahoma for more than 17 years, where he was most recently senior vice president, leading a team responsible for the administration of employer-sponsored retirement plans and institutional asset services.

He joined Trust Company of Oklahoma in December 2019 to lead the Retirement Plan Solutions Division with direct oversight of substantial levels of qualified plan assets prior to joining The Suchy Team of Raymond James in December 2022. Ben and the Suchy Team of Raymond James were named to the 2024 edition of the Forbes list of Best in State Wealth Management Teams†.

Ben holds the Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist® designation. He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Oklahoma State University and later returned to earn his Master of Business Administration.

Away from the office, Ben is an avid fan of most all sports, cheering on his alma mater and spending time with his wife, Kourtney, and their three children.

† The 2024 Forbes ranking of America’s Top Wealth Management Teams Best-In-State, developed by SHOOK Research, is based on an algorithm of qualitative criteria, mostly gained through telephone and in-person due diligence interviews, and quantitative data. This ranking is based upon the period from 3/31/2022 to 3/31/2023 and was released on 01/09/2024. Advisor teams that are considered must have one advisor with a minimum of seven years of experience, have been in existence as a team for at least one year, have at least 5 team members, and have been nominated by their firm. The algorithm weights factors like revenue trends, assets under management, compliance records, industry experience and those that encompass best practices in their practices and approach to working with clients. Portfolio performance is not a criteria due to varying client objectives and lack of audited data. Out of approximately 10,100 team nominations, 4,100 advisor teams received the award based on thresholds. This ranking is not indicative of an advisor's future performance, is not an endorsement, and may not be representative of individual clients' experience.
