Shelly Kooiker joined our team in 2017 with over 20 years of experience in the industry. Her beginnings in the industry started with a receptionist position for MassMutual, where she quickly grew to love the business, wanted to learn more and decided to explore becoming registered as an advisor assistant. She later received additional registrations to allow her compliance oversight and knowledge. After 12 years, she made the move to Diversified Financial Group (DFG), where she continued to act as a registered financial assistant and compliance backup and assisted with payroll and general office support to the OSJ. Although Shelly had a brief career change, she chose to return to her professional passion of working with clients and joined our team as a trusted colleague, familiar with our business philosophy and values, having worked with us during her time at DFG.
She spends her days working closely with our clients as a main point of contact for administrative questions. Shelly enjoys the opportunity Two Oaks Wealth provides her, and she is eager to continue to learn and grow with the practice.
Shelly and her husband, Lance, also known as Gramma and Papa, enjoy the quiet country life north of Woodward, Iowa. Their daughter, Jadyn, her husband, Cory, and their four children – Liam, Maisie, Lakynn and Case – live nearby, so they get to enjoy family time on a regular basis.. Their son, Lane, his wife, Bailey, and their little guy, Lukas, reside in the area as well. Some of their favorite pastime activities include hosting a full house for family dinners, playing outside, splashing in the pool, cheering on the St. Louis baseball team and enjoying the hours of entertainment their grandchildren provide.
