Neil VanLeeuwen provides extensive experience in portfolio construction and market strategy to align Investor’s risk with appropriate strategies. Over three decades, Neil has worked with hundreds of families and has helped in generational transition of wealth and tax savings.
His knowledge and experience include Equity trading, Municipal Tax-advantaged bonds, Mutual funds, Managed Discretionary accounts, Option for stock acquisition and income enhancement.
Other topics of practical knowledge include Revocable Living Trusts, Living Wills, probate, tax and estate planning, asset registration and creditor protection, loans to family members, and social security.
Neil began his career at Dean Witter Reynolds in St. Louis, Missouri in 1984. After a record-setting frigid January, he moved back to Florida and began a 23-year career with A.G. Edwards & Sons. In 2008, after the acquisition of A.G. Edwards by Wachovia, he started his own business as an Independent Advisor and Branch Manager with Raymond James Financial Services.
He received a golf scholarship to Florida State University in 1977, where he graduated with a B.A. in Marketing. Additionally, he has competed in many USGA golf tournaments throughout the United States and Europe.
Neil resides with his wife, Cheryl, in Tarpon Springs. Other interests include fly fishing, classic cars, gardening, art, travel and golf club repair.
Neil has consulted on several boards and is currently a member of the Morton Plant Mease Men’s Giving Circle.
