Craig Federer
Craig Federer, CFP®, AAMS® Financial Advisor

Having grown up in the financial services industry, Craig has seen firsthand the positive and lasting impact an advisor can have. His background has given him unique insight into how critical it is to have someone trustworthy who can remove the emotional aspect to investing and inject objectivity into the decision-making process.

A Certified Financial Planner professional, he specializes in asset management, risk management and financial planning. His goal for his clients is for them to feel confident in their plan and in their ability to live the life they’ve envisioned, including a comfortable retirement. His process includes establishing a financial road map for pursuing each client’s unique set of goals, and then analyzing how specific investments can complement one another. His objective is to optimize performance while minimizing risk.

Before joining our team in 2010, Craig held the positions of vice president and asset management consultant in the Asset Management Services department of Raymond James. He was responsible for consulting with financial advisors and making recommendations on portfolio management, asset allocation and investment analysis. Craig graduated from Rollins College with a degree in psychology and played on the school’s baseball team.

Craig is active in many community organizations. He serves on the boards of Tampa Theatre, Friends of the Riverwalk, and the Tampa Preparatory School Alumni Association.

In addition, Craig is a member of Leadership Tampa class of 2018. He also serves as president of the men’s group at Congregation Schaarai Zedek and participates in the Heart Walk, the premier fundraising event of the American Heart Association.

Craig grew up in Tampa and today lives in South Tampa with his wife, Karley, and their two beagles, Cooper and Cali. In his free time, he enjoys baseball, basketball, golf and tennis as well as attending live sports, music, theater and comedy events. He is also an avid movie watcher.
