His clients often call him before they make decisions on every aspect of personal finance. He talks them through a variety of topics and financially related events, such as home renovations, college savings strategies, budgeting, asset allocation, real estate and more. He is certainly a trusted advisor to the clients he serves.

In April 2022, Michael and his business partner, Mark Sullivan, formed Vision Wealth Advisors and are aligned with Raymond James, drawn by the firms’ values and dedication to supporting financial advisors and their clients. Raymond James stood out for its trust and integrity, as well as knowing it can provide the full-service offerings of even the largest Wall Street firms and our clients could enjoy the accountability and personal guidance that come from being with one of the largest independent, service-focused financial firms in the country.

Michael’s career spans more than 20 years. Previously, Michael was a financial advisor with Wells Fargo Advisors, where he first began working with Mark. Earlier, Michael was a private banker at Wells Fargo Bank and a financial specialist with Wachovia Bank. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina.

Michael lives in Lexington, South Carolina, with his wife, Jennifer, and children, Cameran, Jackson and Hampton. Prisma Children’s Hospital in Columbia is an organization that Michael supports. His son Hampton was treated there for kidney cancer when he was four, and his family continues to contribute to the organization in support of newly diagnosed families. Michael’s family attends Mt. Horeb Methodist Church in Lexington. In his free time, Michael enjoys golf, the beach and coaching youth baseball. He serves on the executive board of the Lexington High School Athletic Booster Club.
