Jim began his career in the securities industry in 2016. Prior to becoming a financial advisor, Jim noticed a growing passion for sound financial planning on account of his exposure to several family members who were small business owners. Jim saw firsthand how goal-setting, planning and hard work could be combined to create success and most importantly a rewarding family life. From there, Jim began developing a career where he could use his experiences and education to provide objective and meaningful advice to other hard-working individuals and families to meet their goals.
Jim received his Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy from Denison University. He earned his Juris Doctorate from University of Pittsburgh School of Law and his Masters of Business Administration from University of Pittsburgh Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business. Jim maintains the Series 7 and Series 66 licenses as well as Life, Variable, Accident and Health Insurance Licenses.
Jim and his wife Lynsey recently relocated to the Youngstown area, where they are happy to be closer to family and have begun a family of their own. In June 2020 they welcomed their first child, Charlotte Lucia. When Jim is not helping his clients or studying the markets, he loves spending time with his wife and daughter. He is an avid golfer, enjoys exercise, fitness and pick-up basketball and likes to read and learn about philosophy, history and current events.
