Tsali Ricketson, Wealth Advisor, started his career in the financial services field in 2004. The philosophies of doing what is best for the client and understanding that each client is precious, are the foundations built while working with Peter.
Tsali is able to synthesize complicated market themes and how they can apply directly to clients’ portfolios as well as communicate the macro ideas on a personal level ensuring every client understands and is informed. He focuses on building trust with clients based upon sound investment knowledge weaving that into a client’s needs and wishes. Tsali has a degree in psychology from Yale. He believes that his industry experience coupled with his background is psychology puts him in a position to help clients’ assuage their market and portfolio concerns. He believes conversations with clients are a two-way street and involve collaboration and participation instead of solely focusing on trying to maximize gains.
Tsali holds the Certified Portfolio Manager (CPM)®, a designation which is a collaboration of the Academy of Certified Portfolio Managers and Columbia University. This intense program taught many important and innovative methods for understanding portfolios, especially focusing on minimizing risk. Protecting a portfolio while moving it forward is something he relates well to as a former Yale Offensive Lineman. Tsali also holds the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA) designation through the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts. He obtained this designation after watching some friends, clients, and colleagues go through a divorce. He was amazed at how impactful divorce was to their overall life but also to their financial life and goals. He spent the time to get the designation so he was in a position to help those through a tough change in their life. The hope is that he can make the financial transition of a divorce less of a stress to those that are experiencing the stress of divorce. Additionally, Tsali holds his Series 3, 7, 9, 10, 31, 66, and Life and Variable Annuity Insurance Licenses.
