Chris delivers financial advice to his clients while embracing the qualities of empathy and humor. Stemming greatly from his own personal experiences, he believes that these virtues enable him to develop deep relationships with clients and harbor their trust in ways that would not be possible without them. He wants each and every client to walk out of his office knowing more about their financial situation than they did coming in – and that they are in good hands.
A graduate of Colgate University, Chris has a bachelor’s degree with a double major in geology and history. He is the recipient of an Accredited Asset Management Specialist℠ designation, earned through a demonstration of strong competency in the field of financial services. Prior to joining Raymond James, he was a financial advisor with Edward Jones. A 20-year veteran of the oil and gas industry, Chris has specialized insight and expertise regarding retirement plans for people in that space.
On a day-to-day basis, Chris develops and nurtures relationships with his clients, determining their needs and developing strategies to help fulfill them. He appreciates that each client is different, having different needs and different goals. This fundamental understanding allows him to provide clients with specialized care and customized service. In his words, a cookie-cutter approach is for making cookies, not helping someone achieve their goals.
Outside the office, Chris can be found volunteering with the Westview School for Autism, inspired by his son, Jackson. He also supports his local Alzheimer’s Association. His hobbies include reading, soccer and spending time with his children.
Originally from Medfield, Massachusetts, and having lived all around the world in between, Chris currently resides in Missouri City, Texas, with his wife, Christine, and their children, Addison and Jackson.
