Cynthia has guided her clients through sound, well-considered financial decisions for more than 33 years. Whether planning for marriage, children, college, retirement, wealth preservation or any combination of milestones, Cynthia is a sincere and caring partner to each of her clients. Formerly a vice president of investments at Morgan Stanley, she joined Raymond James in 2009, attracted by the firm’s client-focused mentality.
Cynthia has achieved the designation CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM, which required her to pass the comprehensive CFP® certification examination and pledge to abide by the CFP Board’s code of ethics. In 2016, Cynthia felt it was important to expand her expertise by earning the CDFA® designation. As a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® she helps empower her clients to make educated financial decisions while sorting through the complexities of divorce.
Cynthia prides herself on listening to clients with an empathetic ear as they explain their long-term goals and objectives, which allows her to identify their unique needs and match them with carefully selected investments and appropriate asset allocation models. Above all, her core focus is to ensure that her clients feel confident and secure in their financial plans.
Cynthia is a 1982 graduate of the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, and she holds Series 7, 31, 63, 65, and life and variable insurance licenses. She is affiliated with the Tampa Bay Estate Planning Council, the Gator Boosters and Christ the King Church. Cynthia is also a founding member of the Tampa Breakthrough for Brain Tumors Annual 5k Run for the American Brain Tumor Association, a cause close to her heart.
A Tampa native, Cynthia currently resides in the Beach Park neighborhood where she raised her twin sons, Sean and Shelby, who recently graduated from the University of Florida. They now proudly join the family as Gator Alumni. In her spare time, Cynthia enjoys attending Gator games, volunteering with the ABTA, and playing tennis at Palma Ceia Golf & Country Club.
