David is Vice President of Wealth Strategies Partners. In this role, his primary focus is to develop comprehensive solutions for clients designed to meet their unique financial goals. He strives to make complex planning easy to understand, ensuring clients have confidence in how their money is invested.
Before joining Wealth Strategies Partners, David was a financial advisor at Aintree Capital, where he met and developed a strong relationship with WSP’s president, Paul Allen. Prior to his role at Aintree, David served as a credit manager with Wells Fargo and later managed his own branch.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in finance and graduated cum laude from North Carolina State University. He subsequently earned his master’s degree in personal financial planning from the College for Financial Planning, along with a certificate in estate planning.
David has achieved the Certified Financial Planner™ certification, which is earned after completing a rigorous CFP® exam and meeting ongoing certification renewal requirements. He is a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®), a professional designation awarded by the College for Financial Planning. He is also a financial speaker and educator with the Association of Financial Educators (AFE), a nationwide 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational bureau of financial professionals in dozens of fields, including investing, estate planning, accounting, tax, real estate, law, and more.
He makes it a priority to invest in the community and has served in multiple capacities for the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation’s Tennessee chapter, including his most recent role as Junior Board President. He is a graduate of Young Leaders Council and currently serves as a board intern with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s (JDRF) Tennessee Chapter.
