Solitaire Dasher-Smiley,

CFP®, CPWA®, CEPA®, MBA Financial Advisor

Solitaire has been in the financial and professional services industry for 20 years beginning her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) within internal audit. In 2010, she joined Raymond James as a Financial Analyst and later transitioned to the Alternative Investments Group within Global Wealth Solutions. In the summer of 2020, after years of remotely consulting with and for Weiss Wealth Strategies, she relocated from Tampa, FL to Scottsdale, AZ to formally join the team. Prior to the move, she spent seven years working with Raymond James financial advisors, recruits, clients, and prospects educating them on the broad and diverse universe of alternative and structured investments and concentrated equity solutions. She also served as a professional consultant on high net worth, ultra-high net worth, and institutional client cases. With a sole focus on this multifaceted yet niche area of the industry, she garnered vast exposure and deep expertise while building a network of relationships with best-in-class portfolio / asset managers and administrative firms.

As a demonstration of her commitment to continuing education, holistic planning, expertise in her field, and the highest ethical standards, Solitaire is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, a Certified Private Wealth Advisor® professional, a Certified Exit Planning Advisor®, and holds the Chartered Alternative Investments Analyst (CAIA®) designation. She also holds the Series 7 and 66 securities licenses and insurance licenses. She earned an MBA, with honors, from the University of South Florida.

Solitaire brings to the Weiss Wealth Strategies team an analytical eye and a comprehensive understanding of arguably one of the most complex areas of the investment industry, Alternative and Structured Investments. She’s spent years consulting advisors and select clients on private markets, hedge funds, market-linked investments, concentrated equity solutions, and risk management. Her objective has always been to offer a balanced perspective of both the potential benefits and considerations those products can offer. Additionally, Solitaire brings her passion and expertise to the team with an emphasis on helping clients and prospects better understand, grow and unlock the value of their businesses and brands to achieve their long-term personal, business, and investment objectives.

Outside of work, she stays busy as a wife to her husband, Jeff, and mother of two young children, Telaiyah and Elijah. She enjoys volunteering at her children’s school and within the community, spending time with her family, traveling and experiencing new cultures.
