Danny Pugh

Daniel F. Pugh,

RICP, AAMS® Senior Vice President, Investments

Since 1996, Danny has built a reputation for providing personalized service to private clients, including families, trusts and estates, nonprofit entities and retirement plans. He works with clients to help manage, preserve and distribute wealth, using clearly defined objectives and guidelines established with each individual client.

Danny’s interest in investing began at an early age when his mother would invest the money he earned on the farm. Watching the money in the market – and how money grows at interest – not only fascinated Danny, it would also influence his career and education choices, including a bachelor’s degree in finance from Auburn University. Danny also holds a certificate in financial planning from Florida State University and holds the designation of a Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP).

Along with serving his clients, Danny served his country in the Army National Guard. After more than 30 years of service, Colonel Pugh retired as the G6 Director of Communications for the state of Tennessee in June of 2022. He is also a veteran of Operation Noble Eagle and Operation Iraqi Freedom, the recipient of the Bronze Star and multiple meritorious services medals as well as other service awards throughout his career in our nation’s military. Upon his Army retirement, Danny was honored with the Legion of Merit, a testament to his exceptional conduct and outstanding service throughout his military career.

Danny and his wife, Karen, live in Franklin with their three sons. They are active in their church – where Danny enjoys the personal challenge of a weekly men’s bible study – and community. As someone who loves time outdoors, Danny looks forward to fishing trips with his boys. And if you are a client who likes to golf, you can expect a tee time with Danny.
