Tony’s parents both lived a life of service. While his father protected the people of West Virginia as a state trooper for over 25 years, Tony’s mother made a home for their five children. Families of troopers, just like those of soldiers, live with the ever-present questions that the unknown can bring. Tony learned early these lessons and the virtues of hard work and integrity. He has turned his knowledge of facing the unknown into a financial career that has spanned 35 years.

Before joining Raymond James in 2012, Tony spent 34 years at Merrill Lynch where he served in many capacities including vice president, senior vice president and finally, senior resident director. When the Huntington office of Merrill Lynch needed an experienced manager in 1990, Tony answered the call. He continued as the Huntington senior resident director through Merrill Lynch’s acquisition by Bank of America until the fall of 2012. In 2012, Tony and his team decided that their clients would best be served by a move to Raymond James. Before joining Merrill Lynch, Tony spent seven years as an educator and football coach. Tony earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Concord University in Athens, West Virginia, where he also played football for the Mountain Lions.

He holds the professional designation of Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor and has considerable expertise in developing sound investment strategies for individuals and corporations. Disciplined and loyal, Tony is committed to always looking out for the individual needs and best interests of every client he serves.

Active in his community, Tony is a board member of the Mountain Lions Club and the American Cancer Society of the Tri-State. He is also a member of the Knights of Columbus and Ascension Catholic Church in Hurricane, West Virginia.

A native of Charleston, Tony lives in Hurricane, West Virginia, with his wife, Paulette. They have three grown children, Michael, Judee Ann and Mark, and a daughter-in-law, Ashley. In his free time, Tony enjoys West Virginia Mountaineers football and serving as a volunteer driver for the American Cancer Society.
