Mike has been in the financial services industry since 2011. He started his career in New York working at HighTower Advisors and a small boutique wealth management and tax firm. It was during this time he learned the importance of comprehensive financial planning and managing his client’s cash flow. Mike believes that every client should have a financial plan that is reviewed yearly to determine what changes need to be made. He also considers having a long-term investment objective imperative to his financial plans to allow for clients to see where they stand. Having a long-term investment objective also helps to prepare a course of action for any adjustments to the plan in his client’s road to financial independence.
Mike has always been a lifelong learner. He graduated from Virginia Tech’s Financial Planning program in 2011 as well as Fordham’s Gabelli School of Business’ Master of Taxation program in 2014. He passed his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ exam in 2011 and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)*. He is also licensed to provide clients with Life and Health insurance as well as Property and Casualty insurance.
Mike grew up in the D.C. area in Potomac, MD where he became an avid Redskins fan. He knew long term coming to Charlotte was always in his plan. He enjoys watching Hokie and Redskins football, lifting weights, and taking in all the Carolinas have to offer.
Feel free to reach out to Mike with any questions you may have regarding your financial plan and see if you are on track to reach financial independence.
