Megan joined the Wilmarth Private Wealth Management Team in May 2017. As a 9 year Raymond James veteran, she brings a wealth of knowledge in both operations and client service. Providing first class service to the families she serves has always been her practice. Earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology allowed Megan to pair technical skills of the financial field with a solid insight to real – life family dynamics. She found that the financial field was not just about money and investments. Understanding the emotions that come with the planning process is essential.
Megan earned her Series 7 in 2011, holds her Life, Health and Variable Annuity License, and recently acquired the series 66 license in June 2017. Her next endeavor will be the AAMS designation or Accredited Asset Management Specialist. The accreditation, which gives Megan the ability to identify opportunities and employ strategies is enhanced not only with regard to investments, but also related to planning for insurance, tax, retirement and estate issues.
In her free time, Megan likes to run to help raise money for local charities and for fun with her Golden Retriever, Izzy and Boston terrier, Nelly, paddle boarding and water skiing.
