Steven is the founder of Wilmarth Private Wealth Management and holds the reputable titles of Senior Vice President, Investments, Managing Director and Wealth Management Specialist. He is a Certified Estate Planner with detailed knowledge of 401K's and their fiduciary requirements, with accumulation, distribution and investment allocation strategies.

Steven directs a dedicated team of professionals who focus on the family's well-being, and are committed to providing superior service. Working in unison with the family's CPA and estate planning attorney, the goal is to provide counsel on all aspects of wealth management, financial planning and estate issues. Steven advises clients on risk, implementation and provides ongoing monitoring of their personalize planning objectives to help ensure their goals are met. The Team becomes the "financial quarterback" for the family.  The advice and directives offered are customized specifically to each family.

Steven accepted a position as a financial advisor with Raymond James in 1998 after serving as President of a local corporation in Melbourne, Florida.  He graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Business degree, and earned the designation of Wealth Management Specialist from Kaplan College in 2004.

In 2007, he earned the Investment Management Consultant designation through Raymond James. This certification program provides skills related to institutional money management and consulting. This includes portfolio construction considerations, asset allocation and manager selection.  Steven attained the Certified Estate Planner designation in May 2010.  This skill set brings together all facets of planning for your entire financial estate.

Steven has again earned membership into the highly respected Raymond James Chairman's Council for 2018*.  This accomplishment signifies the dedication to delivering first - class service to all the families the team serves.  Steven's commitment to provide unbiased investment advice, offering options to protect the family in unforeseen circumstances and insight to all financial endeavors has made him the "go to" person for many families.    

Steven is active in his community and has served many organizations. He is a past Vice President of the Melbourne Police Foundation’s Board of Directors and a past member of the the Henegar Center Board of Directors.  He is a member of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, United Way of Brevard, and Junior Achievement and regularly participates as a contributor to various publications including the Florida Today newspaper, Brevard Business News, Space Coast Business and is a guest speaker for local radio programs. He has previously served as an adjunct professor for Eastern Florida State University, instructor for the Habitat for Humanity and is a past Ambassador for the Melbourne-Palm Bay Area Chamber of Commerce.  Born in New England, Steven and his family have been in Brevard County since 1979. He enjoys boating, NASCAR, the mountains, biking, traveling and outdoor activities with his wife, Victoria.  Their son Cole is graduating from UNF in April with a dual degree in Finance and Financial Planning.  Steven is a dog lover also with Dieghan the 6 yr. old golden Retriever and Lexi, the 2 ½ year old German Shepherd waiting at home for his return each day.
