Steven is the founder and principal of Wilmarth Private Wealth Management of Raymond James. He holds the reputable titles of Senior Vice President, Investments, Managing Director and the Certified Estate Planner designation. After discovering his affinity for the market, he dove deeper into financial planning which naturally led to estate planning.
Steven is a University of Central Florida alumnus. He earned his Wealth Management Specialist designation from the Kaplan College in 2004 and from there, he attained the Investment Management Consultant designation in 2007**, and the prestigious Certified Estate Planner designation in 2010. Planning for a family’s financial wellbeing is in his blood. Obtaining these credentials provided a skill set that was important to him, to be able to offer the talent that is required to be effective in helping plan a family’s financial future.
Steven remains a member of the Raymond James’ Chairman’s Council* for 2020. This highly respected designation signifies his dedication and unparalleled commitment to exceptional personal service and professional integrity. This commitment includes unbiased investment advice, offering options to help the family in unforeseen circumstances.
Organizations such as the Melbourne Police Foundation and the Henegar Center have enjoyed his involvement as a board member. He is also a member of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, United Way of Brevard County and Junior Achievement. He has been a regular contributor to various publications like the Florida Today, Brevard Business News and Space Coast Business. He has enjoyed sharing his knowledge by serving as an adjunct professor at Eastern Florida State University, and an instructor for Habitat for Humanity.
While not at his office, you can find him working on an old or new car, truck, four wheeler or boat. If it has an engine, he’s interested! He spends time bringing the finest out of whatever vehicle it is he’s working on. He likes boating, hiking, NASCAR, biking and his New England Patriots! He’s also a dog lover as he and Victoria have an 8 year old Golden Retriever, and a 4 year old German Shepherd.
