Albert Ray III
Vice President, WPWG Financial Advisor, RJFSAlbert joined Raymond James in 2011 after 17 years managing a financial advisory practice at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney and its predecessor firms. Before entering the financial services industry in 1993, Albert spent 12 years with IBM Corporation in sales and corporate financial analysis, working with leading corporations and small businesses nationwide. During his tenure at IBM, he completed two corporate internships in finance with faculty from Harvard Business School. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from the University of Akron, where he also studied mathematics.
Albert holds Series 7, 63 and 65 securities licenses, as well as a Florida Life, Health & Variable Annuity insurance license. He is a member of the Foundation for Economic Education, The Heritage Foundation, the University of Akron Alumni Association and Phi Delta Theta Alumni Association.
Active in his community, Albert has served as an officer of the Ocala Youth Baseball Association and participated in organizations such as Toastmasters International and the Youth Motivation Task Force. A former Dale Carnegie instructor, he taught public speaking to high school seniors. Outside of work, Albert enjoys CrossFit, coaching youth baseball and softball, playing amateur golf tournaments, reading and playing chess. He and his wife, Janice, live in Ocala, Florida, as do their two children and their families.
