Originally from Lubbock, Texas, Scott received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Tech University and a Masters of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin. He obtained his Certified Financial Planner® certification in 2019 from the College for Financial Planning. Prior to joining Raymond James in 2020, Scott worked for Morgan Stanley for four years.

Scott lives in Lubbock, Texas, and is married to his Wife, Kristen. They have three boys: Rhett (5), Austin (3), and Ryan (1). Away from the office, Scott enjoys spending time golfing, hunting, woodworking, playing the guitar, and coaching Little League.
