As a financial advisor with Raymond James, I enjoy working in an independent environment that encourages me to always do what is best for my clients. I believe that honesty and integrity are the most important characteristics that any advisor can have and I strive to uphold my strong moral convictions.

Strong relationships are also important to me, whether a client is new or someone I have worked with for a number of years. That’s one of the reasons I chose to affiliate with Raymond James. The firm understands and supports my practice, not only by providing quality investment alternatives and outstanding service, but by respecting the relationships I have with my clients.

With more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, I strive to advise my clients on a broad range of financial planning issues that include investment planning, portfolio and risk management, income and estate tax, and retirement planning. My mission is to help my clients achieve financial independence through professional advice, sound risk management, quality investment products, and personal, efficient service.

My philosophy regarding investment management is based on establishing an investment time horizon and then focusing on risk as the foremost variable to consider when creating a financial plan. I tend to be more contrarian and avoid fads, excesses, and speculation.

I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Charleston. I am also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^™ professional and currently hold the Series 7, 8, 63, 65 and insurance licenses.

I am a native of Jacksonville, Florida where I reside with my son Reese and my daughter Finley Cate. A strong supporter of the community, I currently serve on the boards of both the 200 Club of Jacksonville and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. I am also a supporter of Family First, The City Rescue Mission, Downtown Ecumenical Services and Feeding America. In my spare time I enjoy fishing, hunting, and golf.
