Neil's professional career began in 1975, when he began working for the American Arbitration Association of the New York region. He focused his life around the legal sector for nearly 20 years, working his way up from an administrator to the Director of the Commercial Arbitration Department.

In 2001, he began his life in financial services when he started working for A.G. Edwards. In 2008 he joined the Raymond James family. He earned his AAMS® designation in 2001 and in 2010 became an Investment Management Consultant through the Raymond James Institute of Investment Management Consulting.

Neil was born in Brooklyn, but he grew up in Queens, New York. He's proud to say that his children attended the same elementary school that he did. He graduated from John Bowne High School in 1970 and began his career in the legal field. Later, he would return to academia and attend the City University of New York, Queens College, graduating in 1990.

Neil has lived in SW Florida for more than twenty years, currently residing in North Port, FL, which he now considers his home. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Michelle, who is a talented professional musician and the Fine Arts Chair at Pt Charlotte High School. Together they have six adult children and jokingly refer to themselves as the Brady Bunch. Neil serves on the Board of Directors for the Venice Theatre as Treasurer and remains an active participant and volunteer; he has appeared in nearly 100 productions in Venice, Port Charlotte, and Sarasota. Neil is also passionate about travel, exploring the US and traveling internationally to learn about different cultures.
